I’ll be out in Tahoe this winter trying to answer the same question. I hope you get some nice conditions.

We went to Jackson Hole during a storm. It was amazing, but there were some (but not large) lift lines and the snow got tracked up fairly quickly. We went to Grand Targhee several days later. They hadn’t gotten any snow since the storm, but we still found lots of fresh tracks and lift lines were nonexistent.

Where in Tahoe are you going to be? We’re headed to Squaw and Sugar Bowl in a week or two. Will you be around?
