Hi Matt, thanks for the expose’:)! Before reading articles that the show was fake, I did not know. But, I agree, as an HHI fan, I don’t care! Hello Matt! I’m a fan of HHI and watched your episode.Always suspected that the stories were fake, and after reading your blog, I came to the same conclusion as yours: so what? It’s not journalism. It’s entertainment. I’ll keep watching and enjoying myself. I live in Brazil and I love to see the houses and the culture of other countries. You were very brave! I don’t know if I would have the courage to live in a country so different!

Outstanding. Thanks for letting me know. It’s fun to watch and see which place gets picked. I always think there is no way we could ever move abroad because we have too much stuff and those places are usually much smaller. LOL

In reply to kim davenport. Yep, it's really lucky that I'm not a picky eater! I actually one ended up eating something that may or may not have been pig brain (never was able to figure that out). She was a 'fixer'. Her job was just to translate and generally help the film crew work get things done without speaking the language. I did love it there, but I've since left :( In the US for a while taking care of some family stuff. Looking forward to going abroad again tho!

I saw the show and would be scared of not speaking the language and eating out! lol Who is the woman with the mask in the mini skirt? Don’t recall seeing her on the show. Hope you are loving the life there.
