Hey J,

It depends on connecting flights. It's possible but it would be a lot of hassle in such a short space as you might realistically only get one or possible two days in the water for that. If you could extend it to say 7 it would obviously make it more worthwhile.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers

I have to make regular trips via Bogota airport... do you think it's feasable to drag out the layover to 5 days as enough time to get to the coast and surf or would it be a load of hassle getting there?

Great story. That had me laughing when your friend blew your chances. I've had friends of equal uselessness so understand how that feels.

I might have to include Columbia in my travel plans for next year after this.

cheers

I'm planning to go to that area on a trip later in the year. Sounds amazing.

Great read and I'll be sure to visit a couple of towns you mentioned.

Thanks

Wow - that sounds like an incredible trip.
It's amazing what discomforts you will put up with when you know your end goal will make it all worthwhile.

Really keen to know where you are going next - maybe you'll have a little more luck with the girls too!
