[…] Once you’re fed and have all of your supplies, head via tricycle to the Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella (roundtrip transportation should cost 150PH and take less than 30 minutes one way). You can leave your bags with the driver, or bring them into the sanctuary and leave with the front desk if you’re the paranoid type. For 50PH, you will have a guided tour of the semi-wild 1 km square tarsier viewing area. It’s semi-wild because the ten tarsiers who live there can easily move in and out of the fenced enclosure, but due to their territorial habits, always return before dawn. In the mornings the guides search for the nocturnal creatures and leave markers so they can point out the sleeping primates to tourists. You can call ahead to ask how many they’ve found that day to make sure you’ll see at least one! Hi Matt. Have always been curious about the Philippines and I read all your posts on the country with interest. Good job in pointing out the legitimacy of this conservation center for others, I wouldn’t go, just seeing the small cage that they live in is off putting.

I couldn’t agree more. The right place to watch Tarsiers is Tarsier Sanctuary( located at Corella,)
