Many of the companies you find online are in fact agents with relationships with ground operators who are the actual guys taking you up the mountain. I have a number of relationships with leading on-the-ground operators. Drop me a line here: http://www.climbkilimanjaroguide.com/mount-kilimanjaro-tours and I will see who I think is best based on your country of origin, preferred trekking date ect. Most treks are between 6-8 days. The more days you can spend on the mountain the higher your probability of summit success. I recommend seven day trips as the optimal time on the mountain.

Brad is a real inspiration. I’ve heard of people climbing Kilimanjaro with bad legs and even prosthetics, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone with vision issues climb the summit.

This needs to be seem more widely. Mainstream media would love a story like this
