Feb. '05 - April '08 - Founded and ran Xpat Magazine as Editor-in-Chief writing regular copy, managing all contributors, designing advertisements and pages and overseeing all business aspects of the magazine. I sold Xpat Magazine to Gen Hsin Advertising Agency in Sept. '07, but remained Editor-in-Chief. Also consulted for +886 Magazine during their inital starup from Feb'07 to Aug '07.

Aug. '05 - Oct. '06 - Freelanced for various publications in Taiwan including The Taiwan Review, and contributed regularly to Compass Group magazines.

Aug. '02 - Aug. '05 - Freelanced for various publications in North America, most frequently www.curledupwithagoodbook.com and Scratch Magazine.

Sept. '98 - Aug. '02 - Attended UVic in Victoria, BC, Canada. Graduated with an honors degree in Sociology and a minor in Professional Writing. My eighty-four page honors thesis Media Representations of the War on Terrorism received an A.
