It was a merry Christmas for Matt-Gibson.org this year. I’m pleased to announce that Matt-Gibson.org was voted the best travel blog in Taiwan, and the best blog in southern Taiwan, in Taiwanderful’s best blog in Taiwan contest.
Yesterday a bit of e-flattery landed in my inbox in the form of an email from a Miss Anna Miller informing me that I made her website’s Top Twenty Travel Writing Blogs list. This email also marks a strange trend for my blog.
Like the title says, I was chosen one of the best travel blogs in Taiwan by GoOverseas.com, a large and well-respected portal for working, volunteering, and studying abroad. They even gave me this nifty badge to show off.
Damn, it’s been a good year for awards. Today I was notified that I was chosen as one of the top fifty travel blogs of 2010 ) by Awarding the Web — an organization that strives “to recognize excellent web content so that those who have worthwhile content can be distinguished from the useless, bad content that plagues today’s internet.”
I just received an email from Online Degree Programs. They ranked Matt-Gibson.org as one of the 50 best travel blogs in the world. I’m even placed third on the list (although I don’t think that really means anything), just after World Hum and Best Travel Writing, two of the biggest and best group travel blogs in out there.
