Italy Adventure Travel Guide
Adventure in Italy is not hard to come by. This may be the land of romance and pasta, but with 7,600 km of coastline, a favorable climate, and two mountain ranges, Italy is an excellent destination for outdoors adventures. Via ferrata in Italy is growing in popularity, especially in the Dolomites. Of course, the mountains are also great for skiing, climbing. Kitesurfing in Italy is hugely popular, and there are lots of schools and rental shops. Sea kayaking in Italy is also a fantastic way to explore the country’s coastline.

He broke the world record for the long-distance skateboarding by pushing himself 5823 km (3618 mi.) from Perth to Brisbane, Australia, in 2006 (a record that was later broken by Rob Thompson).
Reindeer Sledding to the Ice Hotel

I just stumbled upon the ice hotel when I was looking for reindeer herding trips online. This trip is all about reindeer sledding (also called Vuoján) with the Sami people, the aboriginal people of northern Scandinavia.

She was out for a run when she was confronted by an angry mother bear with cubs. Check out her interview on the Today Show above.
